You should do Norton Antivirus 2009 with Antispyware. Huge improvment over the 2008 version. It cleaned my PC in one scan!

I had Norton Anti-virus 2002. I got a spyware infection and it didn’t do a damn thing. It didn’t even say I had an infection when I had to MANUALLY scan it. I downloaded McAfee security sweet from Comcast for free since they’re my SP. I never had a single problem since then.
